Guidelines for content distributed through Lovorecord. We support artistic freedom while maintaining standards that protect artists, listeners, and our platform partnerships.

- Upload original, high-quality content you own or have licensed
- Properly clear all samples and interpolations before release
- Use accurate metadata and appropriate genre tags
- Credit all contributors and collaborators
- Flag explicit content appropriately
- Respect intellectual property rights of others
Don't
- Upload content you don't have rights to distribute
- Impersonate other artists or create misleading metadata
- Include hate speech, threats, or illegal content
- Use artwork with platform logos or promotional text
- Manipulate streams or engage in fraud
- Submit AI clones of artists without authorization

Our Commitment
Lovorecord is committed to providing a platform that supports artistic expression while maintaining a safe, respectful environment. These guidelines help ensure content meets platform requirements and legal standards.
Scope
This policy applies to all content uploaded to Lovorecord, including audio files, cover artwork, metadata, lyrics, artist bios, and any other materials submitted for distribution.
Responsibility
You are solely responsible for ensuring your content complies with these guidelines, applicable laws, and the terms of service of destination platforms (Spotify, Apple Music, etc.).
Audio Content Requirements
Technical Standards
Audio must be high-quality (minimum 16-bit/44.1kHz WAV or FLAC). MP3 submissions are accepted but may result in quality loss. Files must be free of clipping, excessive noise, or technical defects.
Original Content
You must own or have proper licenses for all audio content, including samples, loops, and interpolations. Unauthorized covers, remixes, or sampled content will be rejected.
Sample Clearance
All samples must be cleared before distribution. This includes: purchased sample packs (verify license allows commercial distribution), replayed samples, and any recognizable elements from other recordings.
AI-Generated Music
AI-generated or AI-assisted music must be disclosed. Content that mimics specific artists' voices or styles without authorization is prohibited. You must have rights to use any AI tools involved.
Artwork Requirements
Technical Specifications
Cover art must be square (1:1 ratio), minimum 3000x3000 pixels, RGB color mode, JPG or PNG format. Maximum file size 20MB. No blurry, pixelated, or stretched images.
Original Artwork
You must own or have licensed all artwork. Stock photos require commercial licenses. Fan art, memes, or copyrighted images (including AI-generated images mimicking copyrighted styles) are prohibited.
Prohibited Elements
Artwork must not contain: social media handles, URLs, QR codes, contact information, promotional text ('New Album!'), pricing, platform logos, or explicit content without proper flagging.
Explicit Content
Artwork containing nudity, violence, or graphic imagery must be flagged as explicit. Some platforms may reject explicit artwork entirely. Pornographic content is never permitted.
Metadata Standards
Artist Name
Use your actual artist name consistently. No impersonation of other artists. Names cannot include special characters meant to game search results or contain misleading information.
Track & Album Titles
Titles must be accurate and not misleading. No keyword stuffing, fake featuring credits, or titles designed to impersonate other releases. Version info (Remix, Live, etc.) must be accurate.
Genre & Mood Tags
Select appropriate genres and moods. Misclassification to game algorithmic playlists is prohibited and may result in content removal or account suspension.
Credits & Contributors
Accurately credit all contributors (producers, writers, featured artists). False credits or failure to credit collaborators may result in disputes and content removal.
Prohibited Content
Hate Speech & Discrimination
Content promoting hatred, violence, or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics is strictly prohibited.
Illegal Content
Content that promotes or facilitates illegal activities, including drug trafficking, terrorism, child exploitation, or any criminal conduct is prohibited and will be reported to authorities.
Harassment & Threats
Content that harasses, threatens, bullies, or doxes individuals is prohibited. This includes diss tracks that cross into genuine threats or harassment.
Misinformation
Content that spreads dangerous misinformation about health, safety, elections, or emergencies may be removed. Artistic expression and satire are evaluated contextually.
Enforcement & Violations
Review Process
All content is reviewed before distribution. Review typically takes 24-48 hours. Complex cases may take longer. You'll be notified of any issues requiring attention.
Violation Consequences
First violation: Warning and content correction required. Second violation: Content removal, possible account restriction. Third violation: Account suspension or termination.
Severe Violations
Content involving illegal activity, child exploitation, or genuine threats will result in immediate account termination without warning and may be reported to law enforcement.
Appeals
You may appeal content decisions within 30 days by emailing content@lovorecord.com. Include your release details and explanation. Appeals are reviewed within 5 business days.
Copyright & DMCA
Copyright Infringement
Uploading content you don't have rights to distribute violates copyright law and our terms. This includes unauthorized covers, uncleared samples, and pirated content.
DMCA Takedowns
We comply with DMCA takedown requests. If your content receives a valid takedown notice, it will be removed and you'll be notified. Repeat infringers face account termination.
Counter-Notices
If you believe a takedown was improper, you may file a counter-notice. See our DMCA Policy for detailed procedures. False counter-notices may have legal consequences.
Content ID Claims
YouTube Content ID and similar systems may claim your content if samples or elements match their database. Ensure you have proper documentation to dispute false claims.
